Janet- Dental Assistant

My name is Janet and I am a chair-side dental assistant. I have been an assistant since January 1997,and have worked in this office since July of 2005. I enjoy being an assistant because I love working with people. I like the interactions of everyone involved. Every situation is different. I did not choose dentistry as an occupation; it chose me. I have always been in the medical field. I found the work to be educational and fascinating. As fate would have it, I was invited to work at a dental practice. I immediately fell in love with my new career. I am very pleased to be working with Dr. Katie Held, Dr. Jon Held and Dr. George Moore. Cosmetic dentistry is thrilling. Seeing the transformations and how happy people are with their new look is very gratifying. I am a team player, hard working, and easy to talk to. So many people are anxious when going to the dentist. I try to make them as comfortable as possible while they are in my care. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, gardening, traveling, creating stained glass, and taking classes.

Beth- Dental Assistant

We welcomed Beth to our team in 2021! She comes to us from a Camp Verde dental clinic with a wealth of knowledge in surgery, implants and dentures. She is a fantastic addition to our team and we can’t wait for you to get a chance to meet her!

Jolene- Front Office Coordinator

Hello, my name is Jolene and I joined the team in summer of 2017. I have a background of working in the dental field, but when I started working for Adobe Dental Design of Sedona I knew I had found a unique practice. Having worked in the city I had forgotten that “small town feel” of what patient care is really about. I've witnessed how the doctors have given the patients their utmost attention and treated them like family. As a certified benefits coordinator I can help with insurance needs and create a better understanding of what works best for your dental care. Most recently I've had the opportunity to cross train to assist in the back office to help in providing each patient with comfort and creating a welcoming environment for your visit. My passions are to work and practice in maintaining compassion to others. As a mother of three great kids, I take pride in family. My time spent is volunteering for the youth at school and coaching with parks and recreation. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle and take interest into continuing education whenever possible. I moved to beautiful Sedona in spring of 2013 and feel that there is no place like it. I'm so grateful to be here and to be a part of the team! You'll find me in the front office and sometimes in the back at your next visit.
